Interested in doing YOGA in the Shores? The Roaming Shores Yoga Club practices beginner’s Hatha YOGA. We will be able to accommodate up to 30 people. A waiting list will be established, if more than 30 people sign-up.
WHAT IS HATHA YOGA: It is a wholistic mind-body-spirit approach to yoga combining breath practices, postures and meditation.
WHO: This class is suited for beginner’s, although all levels are welcome. Each participant will work at their own level and pace. Adjustments can be made for any physical challenges. All participants will be asked to sign a required waiver at their first class.
WHERE: We practice indoors at the Club House at Beach 1.
WHAT TO BRING: Please bring a mat, yoga strap, beach towel/blanket and 2 yoga blocks if you have them. Note – the floor is hard, so you may find it useful to double mat.
If you would like to practice from a chair, there are plenty of folding chairs at the Club House.
INSTRUCTOR: Michelle Vanderlip, 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training certified. Substitutes from the Roaming Shores community may occur as needed.

The Polar Bear Club is excited to host our “Island Extravaganza”! July 13th (rain date 7/14), we are providing hot dogs, hamburgers, pop and water to every boater or jet ski that stops at the island on our beautiful Lake Roaming Rock. How many of us have went around the island and never stopped to enjoy? We wanted to take a day to celebrate the beautiful view! We are asking for a donation if able, and offer a 50/50 raffle! Music provided and time allotted is 12-3, or as supplies last.
