It is that time of year! Tom Fleming has dropped off boxes for toys and jars for monetary donations for this year’s Toys for Tots campaign. Clubhouse Renovations Begin

Those with a view of the Clubhouse from the lake may have noticed some big changes this past week! Renovations have begun to expand and improve our Clubhouse. The building was originally completed in 1967, just one year after the Association was founded. Since then, it has served as a gathering place for members, clubs, and community leadership, as well as a venue for weddings, parties, and countless events. Association Board Approves Placement of Fish Structures

The RomeRock Association Board has approved a Fishing Club proposal to add fish structures to Lake Roaming Rock.  These structures will improve the fishery, as suggested in a recent study by Jones Fish, by providing three-dimensional habitat for fish to hide safely from predators.  Fish structures also provide surface areas for algae to grow, in turn feeding zooplankton (the favored food of smaller fish), and so on up the food chain.

2025 Can the Cruiser Nov 1st

The Roaming Shores Police Department would like to encourage and invite our community and the surrounding communities to participate in our 7th annual Can the Cruiser Food Drive.

2025 Lake Drawdown

11/26/25 update: The dam’s valve has now been closed. During the drawdown, the Maintenance Department dredged as much of the Beach 2 area as possible before winter rolled in.

Attention Boaters and Lakefront Property Owners:

We plan to lower the lake this fall beginning on Monday, November 3rd. Please make sure to have your watercraft removed from the lake before lowering begins.

2025 Meet the Mayoral Candidates Oct 10th

The Village of Roaming Shores will have four positions on Village Council and the office of Mayor on the ballot this year.
